GROWING UP A YIDDISHIST: MUSIC, BANTSHO SCHWAYG, AND ME

CKS congregant Dr. Emily Bengels will give a presentation on what it means to be a Yiddishist, and how Yiddish culture has a lingering effect on our society. With a mix of folklore, music, and literature, Emily will also speak to the changing roles of this “secret” language.
