Congregation Kehilat Shalom welcomes your interest! We are proud to provide a spiritual home for individuals and families with Jewish and interfaith backgrounds throughout central New Jersey.

Our members include households from Montgomery, Princeton, Hillsborough, Hopewell, West Windsor, South Brunswick, Bridgewater and many other towns in the Greater Princeton Area. We are known for our friendly atmosphere and engaging services which bring a warm, close-knit community feeling to religious observance.

Our Religious School, which features innovative programs and small class sizes, has offerings to meet the needs of children and young adults from Kindergarten through seventh grade, including B Mitzvah* preparation. Kehiloft, our young adult program, provides education and social activities for 8th-12th grade students. Our Adult Education programs provide lifelong educational opportunities for those just learning about Judaism as well as for those who have a deep knowledge of Jewish tradition.

Our spiritual leader is Rabbi Jacob Best Adler. Our enthusiastic volunteers are involved with many opportunities to participate in our vibrant community: our Sunday Bagel Café, our renowned Kol Ahava choir, the above-mentioned Adult Education classes, our active Empty Nesters group, and more.

Explore our website to learn about our missionour Reconstructionist philosophy, and our upcoming events. Individuals and families who wish to find out more about our synagogue or who are interested in joining should contact our synagogue director Amy Rosenthal at director@ksnj.org, or call (908) 359-0420. You can also schedule a meeting to talk with Rabbi Jake by using his  schedule link.

Also, feel free to drop by and speak to someone anytime, or join us at any service. We look forward to seeing you soon!

*Many Jewish organizations, including CKS, use the inclusive term B Mitzvah along with (or instead of) "bar" or "bat" mitzvah to recognize gender plurality.
