Scroll Rededication Celebration

Sunday, June 1, 2025 5 Sivan 5785

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

  • Anyone 3 years of age or older is eligible to participate in the mitzvah of inscribing the Torah. Capacity is limited.
  • A crown is a decorative element on a Hebrew letter in the Torah. A letter is a single Hebrew character. A word is considered at minimum four Hebrew letters.  A line is a full line from right to left in the Torah portion.
  • Inscription sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 1, 2025 only. The sofer (scribe) will be there with you to help you write in the Torah.  If you cannot be present to do your inscription yourself on June 1, you can still sponsor the sofer to write on your behalf.
  • Donation amounts are suggestions only. No matter how much you choose to give, we're grateful—please adjust the donation amounts in a way that’s meaningful and manageable for you
  • Each participant will receive a certificate commemorating their participation, what was written, and a photo.
  • CKS member families will have the first opportunity to register and choose time slots. On May 20, we will open registration to friends and extended family.
