Job Post: Religious School Teacher

Congregation Kehilat Shalom (CKS) is a 100+ family Reconstructionist synagogue in Belle Mead, NJ. CKS is seeking two part-time Religious School teachers for our warm, progressive, Jewish community. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Reconstructionist Judaism, experience in the classroom, experience with technology, and a desire to pass on your love of Judaism to the next generation. Curriculum includes Hebrew, Holidays, Torah, Tikkun Olam, Israel and Jews throughout the diaspora.

Our Religious School operates three hours per week, from 9 am - noon on Sundays plus monthly staff meetings and opportunities for professional development. Compensation is in the range of $30-$45/hour, commensurate with experience.
