Job Post: Rabbinic Intern and Education Director

JOB ReSPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and implement curriculum
  • Develop effective programming and instruction with input from the Rabbi, Education Committee, and teachers
  • Oversee teacher lesson plans and teacher professional development; supervise staff of five to six teachers
  • Help create and assist with school-wide, family, and community programming
  • Work with Education Committee and other volunteers
  • Other administrative duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of Reconstructionist Judaism and a commitment to Jewish life and Jewish education
  • Strong administrative skills, including attention to details, organization, and written communication
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience in elementary education and technology
