Social Group

The Social Group helps facilitate social events throughout the year. All adults who are members of the congregation are invited, and anyone can "host" an event. There are no separate fees to join and no commitment to have to come to every event. Only sign up for events that interest you. Depending on the event, attendees may be asked to contribute to the cost, pay an entrance fee, or to bring a dish to share.

There is no requirement to sponsor an event in order to participate, but the more events we have, the more entertaining the group will be! "Sponsors" could be any number of people who propose the event. Your idea could be based on a beloved hobby, something you always wanted to try, or just a personal favorite. Events could take place at a private home, at CKS, at a public venue, in an outdoor space, or even could be an excursion.
