Original Poetry Reading at CKS
Ilene Millman and Maxine Susman
Sunday 12/8, 10:30 a.m. - noon, in person only

Please join us for an enjoyable and engaging morning as Ilene Millman and Maxine Susman, published poets, friends and CKS congregants, read from their original collections of poetry. In her latest collection of poems, A Northern Swim, Maxine grieves her beloved sister’s death but also celebrates many of the heartwarming experiences of life. In A Jar of Moths, Ilene reflects on her life as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and speech language therapist for students who learn differently, as well as her experiences as a citizen of the world. Recently, Princeton and Highland Park public libraries and Hadassah in Somerset have hosted them for highly successful readings of their works. They have also read at numerous art galleries, books stores and museums.

After the reading, there will be an opportunity for Q&A, followed by socializing and food. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Please sign up below to let us know you plan to attend.
