Dear CKS Families,
Welcome to another exciting year at Congregation Kehilat Shalom! I am excited and thrilled to be named your Hebrew School principal. After being here last year I experienced what a warm and welcoming congregation CKS is and I am looking forward to sharing my love of Judaism with all the parents, students and teachers.
I have been teaching in Jewish Education for many years and I am also a parent of post Bar Mitzvah children who have attended religious school since pre-K. I understand the importance of ensuring that religious education is exciting and fulfilling. I know that I can’t do this alone.
Your child’s Jewish education is a partnership. We have in our hands the future of the Jewish people and I look forward to partnering with you in the awesome experience of helping your child grow and develop to their fullest.
All of us at CKS will share the treasures of our heritage and plant the roots of meaningful Jewish living. Together, we will nourish those roots and help them to grow and blossom, as your child learns more about themselves and the history of the Jewish people.
With the High Holidays approaching we look ahead to the New Year and a bright future at CKS Hebrew School.
L’shanah Tova,
