Rabbi Jacob Best Adler has served CKS since July 1, 2018. He is a graduate of the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College. While in school, he taught religious school, ran the ropes course at Camp Havaya, and served congregations, colleges and senior center as a rabbinic intern. Prior to entering rabbinical school, Rabbi Jake worked as a case manager at a Jewish social services agency in Chicago, ran ropes courses at Jewish summer camps, and worked at the Union for Reform Judaism’s national office in New York City. He is passionate about experiential education, service learning, and incorporating Jewish values into everyday life and experiences. He is committed to helping make Judaism work for each individual and family.
