Mix Up My Morning!
During these two exciting weeks you and your child may choose from a variety of activities such as yoga, cooking, art, science, and sports to enhance your child’s summer. Each day of this amazing week is filled with two unique activities. Your child will learn a new skill and make many new friends!

Literacy or Math
During each of these summer weeks students will have a chance to take part in a week long enrichment program. The focus will be either math or literacy in a fun project or problem based format. All programs are New Jersey curriculum based and are a great way to give your child a jump start on the year ahead.

Camp Hours are 9:00am-1:00pm
Camp Fees are $119.00 per week
Extended day option until 3:00pm fee is $105.00 per week

Our Program Philosophy

The Kindercapers program is designed to expose Children to many first-hand sensory experiences. We believe in a “hands on, investigative approach to learning”. Through varied activities, the child spontaneously begins to develop objective and subjective awareness, which grows from exposure to new experiences. The more types of experiences, the richer the conceptual understanding.

We encourage each child to question thoughtfully and think on their own thus fostering a self- sufficient, independent student.

A cumulative curriculum allows us to achieve our ultimate goal; school readiness.

Kindercapers offers a unique atmosphere for preschoolers and kindergarteners by giving children a chance to explore, create and most important, to have fun while learning.

Preschool Program Schedule

Kindercapers is a non-sectarian, co-operative school for children 2 ½ through 6 years of age. We offer half day or full day classes, two, three, four or five days a week. The school hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Morning classes are 9:00am-12:00pm; afternoon classes are from 12:30-3:00pm. Our Full Day Preschool is from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

For those attending the morning classes we offer an optional extended lunch hour daily from 12:00-1:00pm and an elective enrichment program from 1:00-2:00pm. Our enrichment classes are Science, Cooking, Baking, Movement, Spanish and Art. These additional programs hours have a separate fee.

For children to be eligible to attend our school they must meet age requirements. Children must be 2 ½ years old by September 1st to be eligible for our 3’s program
(2 ½—3 year olds do not need to be toilet-trained). Children must be 4 years old by February 1st to be eligible for our 4’s program and eligible for kindergarten the following September for our Pre-K program.

Kindercapers follows the Montgomery School District’s Yearly Calendar.

Kindergarten

Kindercapers offers a Full Day Kindergarten and Kindergarten Enrichment Program. The Full Day Kindergarten hours are 9:00am – 3:00pm, 5 days a week. The Kindergarten Enrichment hours are half days either, AM or PM, complimenting your child’s kindergarten, 2, 3 or 5 days a week. In order to be eligible for kindergarten, students must be 5 years-of-age, by October 1st. The class size will be a maximum of 15 students with 1 teacher and 1 assistant.

The kindergarten curriculum is designed to prepare students for their next level of learning by fostering a higher order of thinking. Our comprehensive curriculum includes a balanced approach to literacy and writing, solid phonemic awareness, mathematic computational and problem solving skills, social studies, art, music and an enhancement of social and emotional skills.

Kindercapers Also Offers

Kindercapers provides a cooperative option where parents assist in the classroom and elsewhere in exchange for a reduced tuition charge.
Kindercapers provides a morning snack and juice, supplemented by special snacks from the child’s family.
Music Class is provided on a weekly basis for all classes at Kindercapers.


Kindercapers class sizes conform to the New Jersey standards and exceed certification requirements.

Kindercapers strives to maintain a personal atmosphere, where each child is considered an individual, both emotionally and developmentally.

Tuition and Fees

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required at the time of registration. There are tuition discounts for the cooperative option, additional children enrolled in our program, and members of the Congregation.
Tuition payments are; full pay, ½ yearly, or a monthly automatic withdrawal. Payment months are August through May.

Registration

We offer tours by appointment. Please call 908-359-0160 for your private tour.
Registration Requirements:

Registration will be accepted only for vacancies in established groups. Waiting lists are used.
1-We must see proof of age (birth certificate or other legal document).
2-An enrollment packet must be filled out.
3-A non-refundable deposit is due at registration. Tuition is payable; once a year in August- twice a year (August and December) or a monthly withdrawal starting in August.
4-A completed tuition agreement must be completed at the time of enrollment.
5-Proof of physical examination and immunization records are required for enrollment.
6-A complete list of telephone numbers (home, cell, business emergency, etc.) is required.
