Congregation Kehilat Shalom welcomes your interest! We are proud to provide a spiritual home for individuals and families with Jewish and interfaith backgrounds throughout Central New Jersey. Our members include households from Montgomery, Princeton, Hillsborough, Hopewell, West Windsor, South Brunswick and many other towns in the Greater Princeton Area. We are known for our friendly atmosphere and engaging services which bring a warm, small community feeling to religious observance.
Our Hebrew School, which features innovative programs and small class sizes, has offerings to meet the needs of children and young adults from Kindergarten through High School, including B'Nai Mitzvah preparation. Our Adult Education programs provide life-long educational opportunities for those just learning about Judaism as well as for those who have a deep knowledge of Jewish tradition.
Our spiritual leader is Rabbi Susan Falk, whose services reflect her wit, her wisdom, and her passion for music. Our enthusiastic volunteers are involved with many opportunities to participate in our vibrant community from our well-attended Sunday Bagel Café to our renowned Kol Ahava choir to the above-mentioned Adult Education classes.
Families who wish to find out more about the synagogue or who are interested in joining should contact the head of the Membership Committee, Leslie Kowalski, at (609) 275-4644. Alternatively, feel free to contact the synagogue office or the rabbi, both at (908) 359-0420, for additional information.
