Directions to Congregation Kehilat Shalom

From the George Washington Bridge:
80 West, 287 south, pass I78, to Princeton-Somerville exit. Take 206 South through the Somerville Circle. Continue for approx. 12 miles to Belle Mead-Griggstown Road. This is a traffic light following a sharp bend to the left. Turn left onto Belle Mead-Griggstown Road and take it to the Stop sign. Turn right and the synagogue is on the right after a curve to the left.

From the Verrazano Bridge:
278 to 440 to the Outerbridge Crossing. Continue on 440, exit at Route 1 South. Take Route 1 South to New Road (Exxon Station) and turn right. Continue through traffic light (Route 27), the name of the road changes to Bunker Hill. At the end, turn left onto Canal Road. Turn right at the Griggstown Causeway, cross 2 bridges. Turn left onto River Road, then turn right onto Belle Mead-Griggstown Road. The synagogue is on the left approximately 1 mile down.

From Points South:
Take 206 north through Princeton. Continue for approximately 8.5 miles to Belle Mead-Griggstown Road. Turn right onto Belle Mead-Griggstown Road and take it to the stop sign. Turn right and the synagogue is on the right after a curve to the left.

Note about the Griggstown Causway:
The Griggstown Causeway is a one-lane bridge that closes occasionally when the water level is high. You can check the water level of the river at the causeway on this government web site:

If the water level is above 9 feet on the gage height, the bridge will be closed. So, if the blue graph of gage height cross a green or red line, please find an alternate route.
